It feels like yesterday when we first introduced you to the then concept car version of the 2013 Chevy Malibu. It may be feeling that way but it was in fact the middle of April when the car was officially announced at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show.
Fortunately Motor Trend has gotten its hands on one of the pre-release press cars and have let us go along for a ride with them. Some of the rumors that are put to rest in the video mostly have to do with the power train, as Motor Trend confirms that all cars will have 4-clyndar engines with 6 speed auto transmissions.
Let’s hope that they are planning on making a sporty version that will have the 2012 Buick Regal GS’s 255hp turbo engine under the hood, as the car is certainly sporty enough to justify the horsepower.
