Check out the promo video of the new 2013 Audi RS5

The 2013 Audi RS 5 Coupé is the star athlete of the A5 family. It offers the power and handling of a powerful sports car packaged in the body of an alluringly elegant coupe.

The Audi RS 5 features a high-revving 4.2-liter V8 with 450 horsepower with 320 pound-feet of torque, allowing the all-wheel-drive super sled to hit 60 mph in around 4.5 seconds and top out at 175 mph. It will also have a seven-speed S tronic transmission with a launch control program. An innovative crown-gear center differential in the quattro drivetrain transmits power to all four wheels, providing exceptional traction and grip for increased performance.

On the outside, the RS4 Avant gets the usual styling treatment with blistered wheel arches, a bespoke design for the grille and bumpers, along with a rear diffuser. Similarly, the interior boasts new body-hugging sports seats trimmed in leather, a flat bottom steering wheel and RS-specific trim.

Now if we could only get confirmation that it will be making an appearance here in North America as we know that the 2013 Audi RS4 Avant will not be sold on this side of the pond.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato shows its self in first on road driving video

Today is Media day down at the good old Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto so expect some #CIAS coverage tonight or tomorrow after we have a chance to boil down all of the boringness to bring you only the gravy.  In the mean time we present a car that stared out life in concept form as one of the sexiest on the planet, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato.  Unfortunately it now appears to have an ugly rear wing hanging off of its butt so we have officially downgraded the Zagato from “Sexy” to “Looker” and yes those are official categories.

Check out the short teaser video and notice how the car is primarily only now shot from the front and never from the rear.  Coincidence we ask?  We think not, as this wing must have been put there by the engineering department to increase stability at high speed, which must have the design team crying themselves to sleep at night.
if you were interested in purchasing one all we can say is good luck as the V12 Zagato is only being built in strictly limited numbers of up to 150 cars.  Aston Martin is hoping that the Zagato will become one of the most exclusive and desirable Aston Martins ever produced even more so then the currently desire record holder the Aston Martin One-77.
